 Description: Situated
within the beautiful northern Rocky Mountains and shared between the Utah and
Idaho border, Bear Lake has become one of the most popular vacation destinations
for jet skiing, water skiing and wakeboarding in Utah. Boasting over 100 square
miles of water real estate, this lake is sure to provide substantial "elbow
room" from other vacationers even during the summer months.
Be prepared
to visualize some gorgeously-clear turquoise water that has been colored from
limestone particles that are found within the lake. Over 3-1/2 miles of sandy
beaches decorate the edges of Bear Lake and present a carribean-like atmosphere,
which is why it has been called by some the "Carribean of the Rockies".
Waterskiing & Wakeboarding: To get the best glassy water,
we recommend waterskiing either early in the morning (starting  between
6:00 - 7:00 am) or late in the evening (after 6:00 pm). Find a boat rental for Bear
Lake.
Personal Watercraft (Jet Skis): Jet skis
are permitted. Find jet ski rentals for
Bear Lake.
