Description:
Located at 5,400 feet above sea level, Deer
Creek Reservoir shares its warm water by mid-summer but with wetsuits can be an
excellent boating destination from late-Spring to early-Fall. The canyon winds
are generally predictable and the reservoir gives a small handful of amenities,
from a 35-unit campground, 58 RV sites, showers and fish-cleaning stations.
Waterskiing & Wakeboarding:
The wind is usually very mild
before 11:00am and the water is pure glass for wakeboarders. Afternoons on the
water is better for waterskiing, slalom skiing and jet skiing. By evening, the
water returns to being calm. Find a boat
