   Description: Holding
back the waters of the Green River since 1968, the Flaming Gorge Dam has
provided over 91 miles northward of open water, a place for all to enjoy called
Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Common activities at "The Gorge", as many call it,
include waterskiing, fishing, camping, rock climbing, cliff jumping and boating.
The nearest towns that have most accomodations are Dutch John and Manila, both
in Utah.
Waterskiing & Wakeboarding: To get the best
glassy water, we recommend waterskiing either early in the morning
(starting  between 7:00 - 8:00 am) or late in the evening (after 6:00 pm).
