Rental Toys Terms and Conditions
General Requirements
Toyitup Rentals Utah, LLC (RentalToys.com) will only rent its equipment to persons 21 years of age or older with a valid U.S. driver’s license, which must be presented at the time of pickup.
Price Protection Guarantee
Rent our equipment with confidence, knowing that you will always get the best rates in Utah. We will match any competitor’s current printed brochure or Web site prices. If you find a lower printed price on the same kind of rental equipment, we will match that price and drop ours by $1 per day. We want you to know that not only are you going to have the finest equipment available, but that you are getting the best prices as well.
Reservation Deposit
A reservation deposit is required to reserve the equipment for the dates you select. This deposit will be credited towards the final rental price at the time of pick-up. The reservation deposit is non-refundable due to the limited season and the heavy demands for the rental equipment. Reservation deposits can be paid online at www.rentaltoys.com or over the phone by calling: (801) 785-TOYS (8697). We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. Checks are an acceptable form of payment for the reservation deposit, but reservation will not be officially made until the check clears. Be aware that anyone may take your reserved dates until the check clears (which can take up to 10 days).
Sales Tax
6.75% sales tax will be collected on all rentals and sales.
Damage Deposit
All rentals require a damage security deposit when you pick up the equipment, according to the following:
- 2006 Centurion Elite V C4 Air Warrior Boat: $2000
- 2007 Four Winns Horizon 190 Boat: $2000
- 2006/2007 Sea Doo GTI Jet Ski: $1000
- 2006 Yamaha Kodiak 450 ATV: $1000
- 2007 Kymco Mongoose 250 ATV: $1000
- 2008 Ski Doo Summit (Fan or Adrenaline) Snowmobiles: $1000
- Wakeboards/Bindings, Skis, Tubes, Kneeboards or other accessories: $50
All damage deposits will be authorized by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) or cash deposit at the time of rental pick-up. This deposit will be refunded 100% if the equipment is returned clean and undamaged – excepting normal wear – with all inventories intact. We do not accept checks as a form of payment for damage deposits.
Items that are lost, stolen or not returned will be charged at full retail price.
A minimum charge of $25 will be applied to each item returned damaged or dirty. Any other damage or cleaning fees are left up to the discretion of Rental Toys.
A representative of Rental Toys will inspect each piece of equipment before departure for prior damage. We strongly advise you to perform your own inspection as well (take pictures, video). Please be thorough, as you will be responsible for any damage found upon your return.
Equipment Check-In/Check-Out
Equipment checkout can begin as early as 7:00 a.m. at the beginning of your rental period. All equipment must be returned no later than 6:00 p.m. on the final day of the rental period to avoid late fees. Any rental returned 15 minutes late (after 6:15 p.m.) will be assessed a late charge of ½ day rental for each piece of equipment rented. It may be possible to pick up your equipment at 6 p.m. on the day before your rental period, if the equipment is available.
Toyitup Rentals Utah is a rental company – we do not sell fuel. We will deliver the equipment with a full tank of gas. It is expected that the equipment will be returned with a full tank of fuel. $5.00 per gallon will be assessed if the tank is not full.
No refunds will be given for early and unused returns. All participants must read and sign a liability release waiver and acknowledgement of risk form releasing Rental Toys and all of their officers, agents, and employees from all liability.
Cancellation Policy
We assume no responsibility for weather conditions or other conditions which may arise which prevent the renter or others from using the equipment for the dates they reserved.
- Cancellations greater then 7 days before the beginning of your rental period are eligible for a full refund, less a 10% processing fee, ONLY IF Rental Toys is able to fill the reservation. For each day that Rental Toys is not able to fill the reservation, the renter will be charged the reservation deposit for each piece of equipment.
- Cancellations less than 8 days before your rental period begins receive NO REFUND.
- Reservation dates may be transferred at any time, less a 10% processing fee; however, if Rental Toys is not able to fill each date selected previously, you will be charged the reservation deposit for those dates.
Insurance
Rental insurance for recreational “toys” is close to non-existent in our industry. Rental Toys uses the security deposit (described above) to cover any and all damages to the equipment. ATVs have liability. Boats have liability. PWCs have liability, Snowmobiles have liability coverage. Damage Insurance is available for purchase upon rental. You may be covered under your homeowner’s insurance policy. Please check with your insurance agent about adding insurance to be covered for the duration of your rental, from your homeowner’s policy, if you are not already covered.
